Movie Night & Camp Out in the Park

Join Park96 for MOVIE AND CAMP OUT IN THE PARK on July 19th!

For the first time since the film’s release in 1977, a limited license to show STAR WARS Episode IV: A New Hope in an outdoor venue has become available to us at Park 96! We are so excited to announce that our Summer Movie Night in the Park will take kids and adults alike to the place that started it all in a galaxy far, far away…

We advise prospective movie-watchers and campers to arrive early as Parkland Cares is hosting a Kids Market prior to the movie. This is an opportunity for kids to put their entrepreneurial skills to work; and for adults to stock up on some crafts and home-made eats! To satisfy further hunger cravings, Park 96 will also have food trucks on site throughout the evening as well as a small canteen serving hot dogs and other snacks. In order to keep children (and adults!) safe, we are on the hunt for some volunteers to help us out throughout the evening. If you’re interested in volunteering (and getting a free hot dog and drink!), please click the button below and sign up for a position.

You are also invited to bring a tent anytime after 5pm to spend the night in the Park. Families are welcome to camp anywhere in the Park outside of the field next to the waterpark.  All campers need to be accompanied by an adult.  Please email park96@telus.net to reserve your spot and let us know how many people will be accompanying your group. “RSVP-ing” is important as it allows Park staff to effectively estimate the amount of food needed to provide breakfast to all campers.

If you have any further questions, please contact the Park office during Park hours (10:00am-2:o0pm, Monday-Thursday) via email (park96@telus.net) or phone (403-271-7516).

May the force be with you!
