Halloween Facebook we need you

 HALLOWEEN ENTHUSIASTS! We need you!

Park96 is planning a socially distancing Trick or Treating event in the Park on Friday, October 30 from 5:30-7:30pm. It consists of 20 stations with a 6 foot candy distribution slide to allow volunteers to pick up candy with tongs, drop it on the slide and then it drops into their bag. Parents can feel secure in the knowledge there was no touching and everyone is a safe distance apart.

This great plan can’t happen without volunteers and decorations. You can sponsor a station and decorate it however you wish or just lend us a Halloween blow up for the night. Stations include a 6 foot table, one chair, some have power, candy slide and all the treats are provided by the Park.

If you have the time and/or decorations you could lend the Park for one night only, please email park96@telus.net

Parkland Cares is supporting the Veterans Association Food Bank and requesting you bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation. Collection boxes will be at each event.
